Adirondack Folk Festival! Did you miss it?
8/15/2025
This past Sunday we had perhaps our best Adirondack Folk Festival! Nearly 500 lucky music lovers experienced nearly 6 hours of glorious performances by our wonderful artists. Trish Miller and John Kirk represented olde time traditions of mountain music and clogging. Annie and the Hedonists echoed the power of the blues. Colleen Cleveland sang ballads handed down from 5 generations of Adirondackers. Peggy Lynn and Dan Duggan sang and played songs of the power of humanity and the importance of women in the Adirondacks. Sara Milonovich and Daisycutter showed us the power of modern alt-country music featuring Sarah’s thoughtful songs. And Maeve Gilchrist and Kyle Sanna took traditional Celtic harp music to stratospheric heights as they mesmerized our audience.
Special thanks to Tim Surprenant of Tents of Champlain, Robert who set up the Helen Wildman stage, the Town of Schroon, Sue Palisano and the staff of the Chamber of Commerce, all our wonderful volunteers and sponsors, including North Country Public Radio, our media sponsor. Most of all, we thank our many loyal supporters, members and music lovers who understand and appreciate the joy of FREE LIVE MUSIC all summer long! To keep us going, why not click our DONATE button and give what you can? And last, but not least, our thanks to the Bard of the Board, our Sultan of Sound, the amazing Russ Feher, who provides us with gorgeous crystal clear sound that echoes all across our lakefront!
Btw, FREE Monday night jams continue till October!
