Hello Schroonlakers!!

2/25/2022

On behalf of the Schroon Lake Arts Council, I hope this website update finds you all healthy, safe, warm and surviving the winter. Spring will be here before you know it — followed by Summer 2022 and what we hope will be the best summer ever for live music on our gorgeous lake!

As most of you know, last summer Schroon Lake Live!!! was one of the very few live concerts series that took place in the Adirondacks! That said, we are incredibly excited about Summer 2022. Moreover, we have entered into a unique affiliation with the Schroon Lake Chamber of Commerce that is mutually beneficial to both organizations, allowing for better coordination and collaboration of all arts programs on Schroon lake as well as reduced costs for marketing and resources. It is because of this affiliation, as well as increased grant and community support, that all concerts we sponsor this summer will be COMPLETELY FREE!! This new model will allow Schroon Lake to be far more competitive with surrounding towns in the Adirondacks, and allow us to accommodate larger audiences outdoors, overlooking our wonderful lake. Accordingly, please see our schedules below, with notes on the wonderful groups we have already booked. As always, even though our programs will be FREE, we will still need all of the many volunteers who help make our concerts run so smoothly. If you wish to volunteer, please keep your eye out with future dates early this summer— Volunteering is a great way to serve our community, meet wonderful neighbors, make new friends, and support the arts here on Schroon Lake.
