WELCOME TO SCHROON LAKE LIVE!! 2024

On behalf of the Board, staff and our many volunteers of the Schroon Lake Arts Council, we are looking forward to a spectacular summer of music overlooking our gorgeous lake. As we are celebrating 50 years of LIVE MUSIC on Schroon, this summer will be extra special, featuring more programs and musical diversity. We are pleased to announce that this summer's theme will be "ROOTS OF ADIRONDACK MUSIC", paying tribute to all the diverse influences that have created the fabric we know and love as ADIRONDACK!
Accordingly, here are the dates for summer 2024, with in-depth details to come:
- July 3: July 4th weekend kick- off with GET UP JACK.
- July 9: DAVE RUCH- BALLADS, BUNKHOUSES, FIDDLES AND FLINGS- TRADITIONAL ADIRONDACK MUSIC
- July 13: Family and Children's program- THE PUPPET PEOPLE
- JULY 15: "SONGS TO KEEP"- PBS DVD with live music and commentary by DAN BERGGREN
- JULY 16: ANNIE AND THE HEDONISTS
- JULY 23: THE RETURN OF THE KENNEDYS
- JULY 30: MARSH LIGHTS
- AUGUST 6: LAKE GEORGE MUSIC FESTIVAL PREVIEW- CHAMBER MUSIC IN THE BOATHOUSE
- AUGUST 10: GOODNIGHT MOONSHINE, FEATURING MOLLY VENTER (OF RED MOLLY)
- AUGUST 11: 34TH ADIRONDACK FOLK MUSIC FESTIVAL HONORING THE "ROOTS OF ADIRONDACK MUSIC".
As we get close, expect details of the music and groups for each program!
AND THE BEST PART???? IT IS ALL FREE FREE FREE!!
