Please join us as we “Kick off the Summer” and our 50th year of LIVE music with long-time North Country favorites “Get Up Jack” on Wednesday evening, July 3 from 7 pm to 9 pm outdoors at the Bandstand overlooking Schroon Lake.
To celebrate our 50 th summer, we are celebrating the ROOTS of Adirondack music, honoring the diversity of musical styles from everywhere that have helped shape the music of the Adirondacks. There may be no better way to celebrate than to start with “Get Up Jack”, now in their eleventh year of presenting the great Irish folk music of yesterday and merging it with the energy of classic American pop, rock and folk. Whether honoring the legacy of the Clancy brothers, Tommy Makem or the Wolftones, John Haggerty and his great band always get folks singing, smiling and enjoying the moment. While they have played all over the country and Ireland, GUJ considers Schroon Lake to be right in their wheelhouse! Don’t miss this wonderful evening of a “touch of the Blarney”!
